First and foremost, it's a friendship between former school mates Vanessa Collen and Clare Adkins, Suffolk girls who had great; and highly successful careers in the City and fashion respectively, then had an early mid-life crisis, missed their friends and the big skies of home, so came back with a cunning plan.
Like most little girls they had a dream. Theirs was of owning a shop crammed with all the lovely things they wanted to wear. Secondly it became a business – and a fast growing one.
Now this chic Parisian-style wooden floored boutique crammed with goodies features in most of the smartest little black books for miles around and is the best address you’ll ever need.
It's the meeting place for friends, it's the first and last place in the area where you run through the door requesting a dress for that night with shoes that match, a special finishing touch to a well-loved outfit or “help I have a wardrobe crisis” moments and all the worries disappear and you walk out feeling a million dollars – without the matching price tag.
It's the place that usually has the must-have handbag before it arrives on the shelves of some of London's most exclusive boutiques. And if it means a late night trip to the post-office to ensure you get the item you want posted for the next day, they'll do it.
